Light streams through my window making a shadow of trembling leaves on the wall.
I'm barely awake having slept for maybe 12 hours. I woke slightly unsmiling. But I went
to bed that way too. Why? I don't know. I'm happy that I made it to Marrakech on a
striking airline in a wind storm from New York. I watched my luggage sit on the tarmac
in Madrid in the rain as our flight took off. Plane too small for all.

Arriving at Jnane Tamsna is like returning home again and again. Nurdine brought
tea. I had a bath. Achmad made a fire. It was so cozy that the thought of going out was
absurd. Nurdine brought soup and lovely meringue. I could barely keep my eyes open
and it wasn't long before I slipped into bed and pot of dreams.

Do you ever feel like you don't know where you are going even though you are already somewhere? It happens when sitting still as well. As my friend Elizabeth Mattis-Namgyel says..'rest in the open question'. The next move will be fresh.
